Is Cristiano Ronaldo nearing the final stages of recovery?
Cristiano Ronaldo has missed out from the 2 opening league matches of the season for Real Madrid as the Portuguese player was not featured in Madrid’s match against Celta Vigo and Real Sociedad.
The Portuguese attacker picked up a knee injury during the 2016 Euro’s which made him unable to perform in the finals of that tournament but Portugal still managed to emerge as the champions after claiming a 1-0 triumph over France.
That match was played on July 10 and Cristiano Ronaldo is still not fully recovered but there are videos which are being uploaded on a regular basis which show the star of Real Madrid working with his fitness and doing intense exercises as he is eager to get back in action and it seems like the 31 year old player is nearing closer and closer to get back into the pitch.
Despite not being able to perform in the 2 opening league matches of the season, Real Madrid have coped well in the absence of C.Ronaldo as the team of ZinedineZidane won both of those matches.
The star player of Real Madrid, C.Ronaldo is hoping that he can get back into the pitch as soon as possible in order to start scoring goals and help out his club in their journey of taking away the league title from their rivals Barcelona as well as fulfill one of his individual targets which is to score more goals than he did in the previous season where he managed to find the back of the net on 35 occasions in the Spanish league.
C.Ronaldo’s recent injury has left him out of action for over 1 month which is a fairly long amount of time for a player that is always hungry to score goals and perform better than he did in the previous season. It does seem like he is almost ready to get back into the pitch which is great news for ZinedineZidane as the Frenchman will certainly need the services of C.Ronaldo in order to not only snatch the league title away from Barcelona but to also defend their Champions League silverware.
