C.Ronaldo says that De Gea will not join Real Madrid

David de Gea is one of the most sought out players in the 2017 edition of the summer transfer window and the Spanish goal-keeper has been linked with various top clubs including: Barcelona, Juventus, Real Madrid and PSG.

When it comes to the world of goal-keeping, David de Gea is usually compared to world-class players such as: Gianluigi Buffon, Manuel Neuer and Thibaut Courtois. This is a player that is only 26 years old which is actually very young for goal-keepers who are regularly able to perform at a high level during a longer period of time.

Even though Real Madrid have been linked with David de Gea, the Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has emerged and denied all of those rumors that have been emerging with the Santiago Bernabeu as a possible destination of the Manchester United jewel.

“Keylor Navas is Real Madrid’s goalkeeper. De Gea is a very good keeper but he is at United. They talk about 50,000 footballers every year and they are always the same. Of the players they talk about, maybe one or two will arrive and that’s it.” Cristiano Ronaldo said.

If what Cristiano Ronaldo is saying is indeed true and correct then David de Gea is not going to be making a move to Real Madrid as the main shot-stopper of the Spanish club is Keylor Navas and no replacements are being outlined.

Cristiano Ronaldo does not serve a sporting director or scouting chief role in Real Madrid but the Portuguese player probably does have additional information than many other media sources especially taking into consideration the fact that his influence in the Santiago Bernabeu goes way beyond the pitch and the 32 year old player might know things that have not been announced to the public.
